education & career development seminar

At the Education & Career Development Seminar organised by African Teachers Network, the Chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora Organization Poland was invited and represented by Hon. Joshua Akuruyejo.
The event focused on Teaching, Pedagogy, the use of AI in schools, navigating the teaching space as an immigrant in Poland and how the teaching career can be advanced and improved.
In attendance was many notable personalities amidst the black community like the Ambassador of Senegal to Poland, Director of the Human Resources Management of NAWA, Apostle Valentine, Dr Karamalla of University of Warsaw, Professor Amaka Ohia-Nowak and Dr Lateef Erinfolami.
There were three panel discussions, a violin live play session by Zofia Sakora
Amidst many other issues, the delay and troubles faced by students due to NAWA recognition was discussed and the representative of NAWA assured us of improved services and that students can contact their office directly if they are about to miss a deadline due to NAWA recognition

Another very important personality that was present at the event and on my panel discursion was Prof. Amaka Ohia-Nowak. A polish Nigerian prof from the university of Lublin. I promised her to be connected with our NIDOP activities. She was actively involved with supportting Africans and others escaping from Ukraine during the first phase of the Ukraine invasion
