Iri Ji Festival

The New Yam Festival of the Igbo people is an annual cultural festival of the Igbo people that takes place at the end of the rainy season. The Iri ji festival is practiced throughout West Africa and other African countries, but also in other parts of the world where the Igbo people live. It symbolizes the end of the harvest and the beginning of the next cycle of work.
